Super Collapse II

The goal for Super Collapse II GBA was to create an extremely faithful adaptation of GameHouse Studios' flagship title. All four game modes and every puzzle from the PC original was present. We captured the essence of the game that built GameHouse.
Unfortunately, it was decided that the game would ship without an on-board battery for the cartridge. Without the battery, the game couldn't have a persistent save game function. To mitigate this we decided to implement a password save system. Considering most people dislike passwords, my goal as UI designer was to make the password entry as fast and friendly as possible.
Spotting the game in the wild for the first time was quite exciting. It was in a glass display case at a Walmart. This was one of my favorite memories from my vaction to New Orleans that was otherwise puncuated with vicious sunburns...
