Bored, a free range mullet host liberates a hive frothing with buzzing hornets from it's peaceful tree. Using a combination of particle simulation and keyframe animation the hornets were brought to their full mullet hunting potential.
Particle systems were used to create the killer cloud of hornets in the wide shots. In the close-ups hornets were individually key framed and placed precisely by hand.
As a one man effects crew I modeled, textured, and animated the swarms of polygon hornets.
